They found the baker's body Monday morning Blood was drying on the kitchen floor The Loaves that he was baking in the oven overnight were black Smoke filled the room and out the door There was not a soul in sight to see but Thirteen crows, sitting in the old dead tree His eyes were gone, empty in their sockets His hands were picked clean down to the bone A rancid smell was mixing with the scent of burning bread His body stiff and greyer than a stone No one could have seen this awful crime but Thirteen crows, sitting on a telephone line A quaint little village, where nothing ever stirs Everyone knows everybody's name The baker was a peaceful man who never did no harm With friends like these, who could be to blame? The people flocked to the village tavern The gossip and rumours start to fly Perhaps he owed someone a lot of money Perhaps the killer ran off with his wife Little do they know that waiting just outside that Thirteen bakers murder shows Thirteen groups of thirteen crows A hundred and sixty-nine crows with hungry eyes.

Sixteen Tons 02:48
Some people say a man is made out of mud A poor man's made out of muscle and blood Muscle and blood, skin and bone A mind that's weak and a back that's strong CHORUS: You move sixteen tons, and whatta ya get? Another day older and deeper in debt Saint Peter, don't you call me, 'cos I can't go I owe my soul to the company store I was born one morning when the sun didn't shine I picked up a shovel and walked to the mine I moved sixteen tons of number nine coal and the straw boss said "Well, bless my soul!" CHORUS I was born one morning in the drizzling rain A fightin' and a trouble are my middle names I was raised in a shack by an old mama lion Ain't no strong toed woman make me walk the line If you see me comin' better step aside A lotta men didn't and a lotta men died Right fist of iron, the other's steel If the right don't getcha then the left one will CHORUS
